Framing Silence

Framing Silence is a photographic meditation on the language of windows, portals between inner life and outer world, between stillness and time’s passage. Captured mainly across Mediterranean towns and villages, these façades reveal histories layered in texture, erosion, symmetry, and repair.

Each image isolates a single window, but it is never just a window. Shuttered frames speak of abandonment or protection. A plant or chair becomes a witness. Reflection turns glass into memory. The series invites the viewer to look, and to consider what remains hidden behind the frame.

Through rhythm, color, and restraint, Framing Silence explores architectural repetition not as monotony, but as quiet testimony. These windows are no longer structures, they are stories withheld.
